Semperfli Nano Silk Saltwater 100D

Semperfli is famous for its Nano Silk, with 100m per spool, the strongest denier, ultra strong fibres and more GSP than any other volume manufacturer on a spool. However Semperfli wanted to develop a version perfect for saltwater fly tying at 100D. With deeper, dope dyed GSP, they introduced the colored plastic into the raw GSP as it was being dyed and extruded. The result is Nano Silk Saltwater 100D, a NEW version of Nano Silk with a deep color that will never lighten or color run.
This new color dope dyed GSP formula is unique in the industry. Nano Silk Saltwater is perfect for streamer and predator patterns with its flat profile ideal for chironomids, traditional flies and ribbing. Finer than many polyester 6/0 threads, it is extremely strong - much stronger than polyester or rayon threads. Nano Silk Saltwater 100D is thread that will not break easily, giving confidence for the fly tyer, but it can be flattened completely.
